Rawlins to Austin
- Here's what we came back to from our Christmas break

- Murray's butt was froze to the ground

- ...and so was his belly

- 2 days and a blast furnace did the trick

- Free, fueled up, and ready for the 1300 miles trek. (After a filter change with the help of John Dooley on the off-ramp)

- I guess it was just too cold to obey these signs: NO PARKING; NO SEMIS

- I'll be right here when we get to Texas, K?

- From cold to colder, with 70-80 mph sidewinds

- This is near Arlington, between Rawlins and Laramie. Just one of the wind's chosen victims. Why not us?

- Just below the semi. There are people still in this car!

- These surfers got it, too.

- A beautiful day followed in Cheyenne

- A statue of Abe Lincoln winking at us.

- Our third day brought us over the Red River, the northern border of Texas. YE-HAW!

- Road cat. Headin' down to Texas. Gonna have a couple scorpions for breakfast.

- About a mile away, a NASCAR stadium & track. It's BIG. (for you, Fred)

- Hey, let's drill for oil HERE.

- Lisa and Bret's back yard in Taylor. A very welcome place.

- Two days later, downtown Austin.

- Call it what you want.

- The Bobby Lindstrom Band's Austin, Texas debut.

- Happy to be doing what we do.
