I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Rex Johnston of Portland Recording Studio last week and sittin' in on some recording of the new CD. All I can say is WOW! this stuff is gooooood. The Swedes were on fire and music was tight, tight, tight! This new CD is gonna be amazing with some old familiar sounds and some new licks, all recorded, mastered and shined up by Dr. Johnston. Bobby, Bill and Garse just seem to know how to rock it good! Get 'em while they're HOT!!

yo bobby, I haven't checked up on ya for awhile. Sounds like things are going well. Things are going slow and easy Up here on the mountain in montana. The gardens in and the fish are getting fatter. I usually take a long walk about midnight and listen to some music on my iPod. Tonight I listened to some old Blind Faith and some guy named Bobby Lindstrom.
I gave 30-Days notice to move out of here. I can’t take Roseburg any more. No, I don’t have an extra pack of cigarettes. I will live again in my van for the summer. I want to check out Reedsport, Florence, Depot Bay, Walport, and last, Newport. Time to move. This is a pig state here (er, I mean Police State).

Alive and well in oHIo, I do not know why they spell it that way but you see it a lot. There is great need for west coast Blue/Rock. Booking starts in January.
large venue,$$$$. We (Trish & I) went to Ann Arbor, MI last week fun time. They have the same needs. We went to Cincinnati two days ago, same thing there. It apeers to be an epidemic, and it has spread over a vast area. I will be looking for crews who are willing to bring relief to these poor victims of this devistating epidemic. I will travel to the North West, and spend several week with hopes to encourage those who are capable of bringing the much needed relief. See you soon. jd.

Entrenched in coquille... Shawna is doin great. chemotherapy is in full swing and besides feelin a little puny she is doin alrite. We found a great house in coquille and will be movin in this next week. It'll be good to call someplace home again.
Played music with Mixed Blood this last weekend with cooper and broken horn (anyone remember him? good player). The gig went great and they asked me to join their bunch. We'll see... Gas prices may make the decision for me. Had a great time at the eugene celebration though. I'm thinkin they could use a couple of bands from the coast next year... nudge nudge wink wink.
Anyways... see ya all this weekend at the fun fest. HOOOoooooooooooooooooo!

Crawdaddy's down here in Tejas wishin' he was in Coos Bay! I still haven't found a group of musicians to play regularly with. It's tough to find people that aren't bothered by my job pulling at me all the time. Everybody wants someone who can get together 2 or 3 times a week for practice. I can certainly understand that, but it was nice sitting in occaisionally with friends and having a good time making each other smile.
I miss you guys!
I will be back for a visit as soon as I can break free.

...and now the garse returns to oregon. yep. its true. packed my bags and headed on back up the oregon trail. ran a few artesians up around zaragosa on the way. good to be home though.
shawna's in surgery as we speak. she's havin a port put in her chest for chemotherapy which starts soon. sigh... she's tougher than any one of us so i'm thinkin things'll be goin smoothly. wouldnt hurt to keep a couple of positive thoughts comin her way though.
we will be around the bay area for a while and then prolly move closer to shawnas medical needs, eugene or portland. but i might get a chance or two to play music with bobby or bigfoot on the coast "every once in a while". We will cross paths then...
